Now, how do i define vanity? I dont know about the rest out there, but on a personal level, it’s way beyond luxury items and designer labels. Oh yes, i’ve had my fair share of those things back when i was still a working girl in the big city. I was young, hungry for all the luxury things that money can buy. And money is what i dont have much those days.

And to slave for a whole month or two just so to get my hands on that oh-so-desirable Louis Vuitton really does sound kinda crazy to me. But i think it’s also normal for most young girls who’ve just stumbled into the world of labels worshipping, right. And then what. I’m also not one of those who’ll use the same thing over and over again forever. After all the excitement of laying my hands onto it, i’ll be off to my next item on my never-ending list of iWants. Sigh… ever had that feeling before?

But that’s what life’s about then. I prefer a more laid-back lifestyle nowadays. Simple things appeal to me more than frivolous items. It’s not the affordability issue here. Just that my preferences have changed as i matured. Oh yes, i’m still drawn to the latest fashionable items every now and then. That’s only normal. But you certainly wont find me rushing to the stores the moment it hit our shores. Unless, yes…. unless it’s really that special. I might…. i just might….
